All eyes are on the appointment of a new Chairperson as the tenure of present incumbent Mrs Mallika Srinivasan is coming to an end on November 18, 2024. Mrs Mallika, who is also CMD, Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited (TAFE), joined the PESB on April 1, 2021. The appointment of a Member in PESB has become imperative because in the next few weeks posts will fall vacant. The Chairperson and the senior-most Member will vacate the Board on completion of tenure. Chairperson Mallika Srinivasan will conclude her term in November whereas Member Amarjit Sinha (Retd IAS: 1983: BH) will conclude his term in December.
